Fuits Vermells d'Albanyà

Fruits Vermells d’Albanyà was born from the initiative of four enterprising people who are committed to the territory, their healthy habits and the care of our environment. All four residents of Albanyà, in 2019 we are putting an end to an agricultural project dedicated to the production of red fruits. The main product of this crop is raspberries, but we also work in the production of blueberries, blackberries and currants.

In our pioneering plantation in the Empordà we want to promote:

Healthy eating habits: eating red fruits, a source of vitamin C, fiber and antioxidants. The best way to absorb all these properties is through fresh consumption, which is why we offer the customer to harvest the fruit for immediate consumption.
Commitment to the territory: working in and for the territory, offering a product of proximity and quality. We believe that self-harvesting and direct selling promote the consumption of local products, while humanizing the relationship between producer and consumer. We practice sustainable and environmentally friendly production, thanks in part to our flock of sheep.
Life experiences: learning about the plants that bear fruit, valuing their process and respecting them, harvesting the fruit that we will then consume and encouraging responsible consumption.
You will find us in the small village of Albanyà, the first in the Muga valley and the gateway to the area of ​​natural interest of Alta Garrotxa. We demand the economic and social development of the primary sector in rural areas, as an indispensable tool for fixing the people in the territory and for having living villages.
