The sanctuary of the Mare de Déu del Mont was built in the 14th century on an ancient medieval castle, and it continues to have an important popular devotion. Inside the sanctuary, there is still a room where the Minister Cinto Verdaguer lived and wrote one of his main works: El Canigó.
