This restored pre-Romanesque church from the 9th century is located in the centre of the forest but no longer holds services. Thanks to finds of ceramic fragments, Olmells has been shown to have housed Roman and pre-Roman settlements. The single-nave building has a trapezoidal apse. Entry to the sanctuary is via a triumphal Roman archway with little light and very pronounced high-points and buttresses. The side walls of the nave and chevet ' which preserves the original vault ' are still standing from the Romanesque structure.
