MTB Trail 16: Dry stone

NOTE: This route is located on the perimeter of the fire which affected this zone THE SUMMER OF 2012. PART OF THE TRAIL signaling has been affected. JUST DO IT IS RECOMMENDED BY FOLLOWING THE TRACK FOR THE GPS. WE ARE WORKING FOR returning the signposting. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Trail that runs thorough landscapes of thickets and groves. We can see how man has changed the area throughout time with numerous marls and dry stone sheds.

Travel distance: 18.34 kilometers.

Min. altitude: 59 meters, max.: 186 meters.

Accum. upward slope: 311 meters, downward: 295 meters.

Degree of difficulty: Moderate.

Finishes at starting point (circular):  Yes.

Itinerary: From Avinyonet, we head toward the neighbourhood of Cases Noves to bike upwards to the plain of les Vinyes. When we get to the town of Llers, via Terres Blanques, we climb the Roca hills to begin our descent, among quarries, that will take us back to our starting point.
