Very demanding route along the cliffs of the Empordà and Garrotxa. Magnificent views.

 

Travel distance: 47.86 kilometers.

Min. altitude: 253 meters, max.: 1,169 meters.

Accum. upward slope:  1.413 meters

Degree of difficulty: Very difficult.

Finishes at starting point (circular): Yes.

 

Itinerary: From Albanyà, we go back to la Muga to the torrent of Pincaró and take the trail upwards to the foot of the Bassegoda hills. Here we can enjoy the landscape of the Empordà plain. We follow the Bassegoda road to Sant Martí de Corsavell following the opposite route of the GR-11 to return to Albanyà.
