The banana trees (Platanus hispanica) and cedars (Cedrus deodara) of Agullana make a unique urban space. Characteristics: The most impressive banana trees in Agullana are those at the Avall spring. Condition: Many of the large town courtyards house magnificent examples of cedars planted around 100 years ago and are now extraordinarily large. The largest is amongst those at Can Parellada but those at Can Quera, Can Serra, Can Tomeu and Can Perxés are also impressive.
