The Sant Julià de Ribelles church was consecrated in the year 947, at the same time that the boundaries of its parish municipality were clearly defined. In its interior, is a conserved part of the pre-Romanesque construction related to this consecration, with herringbone masonry (opus spicatum) and two windows. The church was rebuilt in the 13th century with a nave covered by a pointed vault ceiling and semicircular apse. To the north, there are remains of a building from the 11th century.
