Sant Miquel de Bassegoda is an example of 12th-century Romanesque churches which were very common in the mountains. It stands out due to its simplicity, the elegance of the proportions and the perfection of the large well-cut and polished ashlar work. It houses a single nave, a semicircular apse and has a pointed vault ceiling. The entry is located to the south and on the façade to the west rises the belfry. It has recently been restored with great care.
