The remains of L'Hortal castle, also known as Ordal in old documents, are little over a kilometre to the west of Llers village, near L'Estela farmhouse, atop a small plain. There is a spring a few metres from the castle where a torrent ' L'Hortal ravine ' begins forming a small valley.
